I trained as a nurse at the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford and worked as a nurse for 10 years. I then studied Applied Kinesiology and got a Diploma in 1984 and practised this in London with a Chiropractor for 3 years.
During this time I studied Five Element Acupuncture in Leamington Spa at the College of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, U.K and was awarded the qualification of Licentiate in acupuncture in August 1987 (I studied for three years).
I then studied Traditional Chinese Medicine for 2 years in London at a college which is now based in Reading and known as the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine. I qualified in May 1994. Since then I have worked in various clinics around Brighton i.e the Alive Gym, the Acupuncture Clinic in Portland Road, Hove and worked as an acupuncturist in an Osteopeathic Clinic in Bexhill. I have also worked from home.
